Meet Dr. Anthony

Hi, I’m Anthony, the Head of Student Success here at FearlessGrad. I studied Classics as an undergraduate at the University of Chicago and earned my MA and PhD in Classical Archaeology from Harvard University, where I researched urban development and social memory in Roman North Africa.

I’ve mentored and taught over 500 students at Harvard and MIT, earning several teaching awards and a nomination for Harvard’s Star Family Prize for Excellence in Advising. As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Harvard GSAS Fellowships and Writing Center, I advised students across STEM, the Social Sciences, and the Humanities on academic writing and presentation skills, and helped them secure competitive fellowships and grants from organizations including the Fulbright Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and the US Department of Defense.

I never left Boston, where I live with my wife and our brindle rescue dog, Fergie. In my free time, I’m a hobbyist woodworker and writer of mystery fiction—perhaps symptomatic of being an Aquarius.
